TASKS:

1. Place on the Project Web page:

-          information about a history of your town, school and region,

-          some interesting historical facts, pieces of news placed by students

-          articles written by teachers connected with their experience in teaching (e.g. language, Maths etc.)

2. Preparation of albums about students’ towns: monuments, history, news. The title of this album: “My town today and before”

-          presenting the most interesting album at the exhibition at the Wall of friendship (at each school) and during the partnership visit.

3. Choosing one legend about town or region and presenting it in English and your native language at the Project Pageantry

4. Making a postcard about your town or region – Art contest

-          by September 30^th 2010 – at your school stage (choose three postcards)

-          at the partnership schools’ stage – on October 20^th 2010 – final contest results

5. Preparing by students a multipresentation about their town.

-          presenting it during the workshop of task groups

6. Making an album “Portraits of famous countrymen”

-          3 albums will be given to partners during the visit

7. Presenting a paper during a workshop for teachers “Improving working with communication disorder students”

-          partners presentation at the teachers’ workshop

8. Students’ presentation at the Pageantry of the Project - preparing and displaying the presentation of the nation:

-          a poster with information formation about a country and region, its history, culture and wildlife.

-          a recipe – national dish

-          a doll in a national costume

-          presenting a folk dance
